Italian manufacturer of luxury sports car Lamborghini consider placing its portfolio to a four-door sedan to attract more customers, Bloomberg. "A third model (which would complete lines Gallardo and Murcielago - n.red.) Would fit great for Lamborghini. A four-door car would be a feasible approach" to market under current conditions, said Stephan Winkelmann, Director Executive of the Lamborghini. Launching a four-door model would allow Italians to compete with the Lamborghini model of the Maserati Quattroporte's fast and Aston Martin. In the first half, sales of Italian manufacturer, a subsidiary of Volkswagen fell 18% to 674 units. Although there is still no concrete plan on the production of a four-door sedan, Winkelmann said that such a model should generate "a real leap" of sales. At the Paris Motor Show 2008 Lamborghini Estoque concept presented model, it was described then as "a four-door sedan at a price of 230,000 dollars." Group officials have not said whether it is targeted for production model.
